COBO LEAGUES START January 5th!   

           

COBO LEAGUE OVERVIEW 2019

The COBO Boys and Girls Leagues are for players in grades 5 through 8.  Players compete for teams based on the high school district in which they reside.  These districts include: Summit, Mountain View, Crook County, Bend, Madras, Ridgeview, Redmond, Sisters, and LaPine.  Tryouts and cost information are handled by each individual COBO program.  Tryouts typically occur around the first of November.  This year's COBO season begins on January 5, 2019, after the holiday break.  The COBO regular season consists of 12 games, which are played on 6 different dates (2 games per date).  The COBO League tournaments this season are scheduled to held February 23rd / 24th for the Girls COBO League and March 2nd / 3rd for the Boys COBO League.

COBO BASKETBALL

COBO consists of camps and skill training sessions that are operated in partnership with Bend Metro Park & Rec, as well as competitive Boys and Girls leagues. 

COBO was founded in 2000 by former Mountain View High School Boys Head Coach Craig Reid.  During his tenure from 2000 to 2015, Coach Reid helped lead his teams to 10 I.M.C. Championships, while graduating players earned in excess of 1.5 million dollars in basketball related college scholarships.

The goal of COBO is to provide an enjoyable basketball experience that fits the need of each participant from beginners up to highly competitive and experienced players.
