Boys and Girls Leagues Postponed.
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing impact and risks of Covid 19, programs that compete in the COBO Boys and Girls Leagues have been unable to get their programs under way this season. Without teams, obviously we can't have a league. Public health concerns, access to gym space, as well as liability issues currently associated with indoor "contact" sports, are the primary hurdles at this point in time.
We are using the term "postponed" instead of "cancelled" because we are hopeful that we may still have a possibility of running the league 2 or 3 months down the road, if the pandemic resides to a safe level for indoor sports and as importantly, gym space becomes available.
Please stay safe and hopefully we will get through these challenging times sooner rather than later!
